Vintage/TS is the first co-produced acoustic guitar to come out of Bourgeois Guitars’ collaboration with Eastman Music Company.

Using his renowned system of hand voicing, all Touchstone Series soundboards are optimized for tonal excellence by Dana and his team of skilled luthiers in their Lewiston, Maine shop. The tops are then sent to Eastman’s workshop in Bazhou, China where a hand-picked group of talented and advanced guitar builders from Eastman’s team, specially trained in Bourgeois construction methodology, incorporate them into guitars of Dana’s design.

“The Touchstone Series is truly breaking new ground—they’re designed, and hand voiced in Maine from old growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce with Adirondack for the bracing. Touchstone is an extension of the boutique playing experience and gives players an opportunity previously unheard of in this product category,” said James Cook, Bourgeois Guitars’ Product Manager.

“Eastman has been able to help us offer a broader range of instruments, allowing us to make our guitars available to a much wider audience. This is something we have always wanted to do for guitar players, but frankly would not have been able to provide at any meaningful volume without this partnership,” stated Dana Bourgeois, Bourgeois’ CEO.

The Touchstone Vintage/TS is available now through select Bourgeois dealerships, at $3,299 MSRP. For more information on the Vintage/TS, visit bourgeoisguitars.com.

Equipped with a new class-D amplifier developed by EBS that delivers 750 W RMS at 2 ohms at a competitive price, it should attract bass players looking for a back-saving amp suitable for any size gig.

The latest generation of Reidmar amps combines EBS's world-famous analog preamp technology with EBS's lightweight power amp design.

The new lightweight power amp in the Reidmar 752, developed by EBS, is optimized for bass. It delivers 750W RMS at a 2-ohms load and provides the optimal output for any EBS speaker cabinet without risking blowing any speakers. The tone is solid, with lots of punch and clarity. EBS-developed Soft Clip technology protects the amp from overload while preserving bottom and solid bass tone at higher volumes.

The analog preamps' powerful EQ helps dial in any sound you like with ease, and the Drive adds harmonics and dirt when needed. The built-in adjustable Compressor help create a consistent and more controlled sound when desired without losing the dynamic response.

The amp fits nicely in a laptop bag, and the lightweight saves your back when traveling with your Reidmar 752. The EBS Reidmar 752 will replace the Reidmar 750 from now on. It is also 13% smaller in size than the previous model.

Estimated price: $999. For more information, please visit ebssweden.com.

An analog pedal featuring gate pot control and a color 4-way rotary switch.

Designed to address an issue for guitarists: every amp sounds better when you boost the input signal. Feeding it with a stronger signal makes it work on a totally different level. The sound is amplified, thicker, and more powerful but that’s true for the noise too. Especially in a long chain of effects.

A perfect solution for these tricky situations is a combination of a boost and a gate. A total of 30db transparent BOOST and a unique innovative GATE defined by the fast reaction and smooth transitions, provide a solid punch for the desired tone. On top of that, a COLORswitch allows for a quick and easy mid-tone shaping.
